GCSE & A-Level Results

The governors and staff at Harrow High School would like to congratulate all our Year 11s and Sixth Form with their hard work culminating in an excellent set of GCSE and A-level results.

In particular, at GCSE, the learners have achieved hundreds of A and A* grades with 18 learners achieving 5 A-A*s and above. The overall school outcomes include 50% of learners achieving the basics measure of English and Maths, which represents excellent progress, great value added and this will generate a very high progress 8 score through the government’s new system.

Many of our learners will be going on to our excellent Sixth Form which achieved our highest ever outcomes with 81% A*-C grades or equivalent at A level including our phenomenally successful BTEC level 3 courses. Yet again, the vast majority of our learners have secured places at their first choice of university.

We are particularly proud of the following learners who achieved exceptional outcomes:

GCSE exceptional outcomes

Yalman Ahadi – 1 x A**, 10 x A*s, 1 x A, 1 x B

It’s unbelievable! A miracle to get an A** in Further Maths! I am so happy! I’d like to thank all my teachers especially Maths and English. Everyone that made this possible and believing in me.”

Sara Elawadi – 13 x A*s, 2 As

“I’m really really really pleased!! I thought I’d done well but this is beyond my dreams. It was because I stayed focused in lessons, got no behaviour points at all, had 100% attendance and punctuality and most importantly a belief that I can do it got me to this point.”

Bidoor Al-Zaidy – 12 x A*s, 1 x A

“I’m so pleased with my grades, I can’t quite believe I did as well as I did! Working hard was so important and the teachers helped me to focus with all their input.”

Josh Sawantawadi – 10 x A*s, 2 x As

“I’m really happy! The teachers especially helped me get to this point, with after school sessions, great resources and the support that got me here.”
