New Year Seven make a fantastic start at HHS

We are delighted with the new Year 7 cohort who have really impressed staff and other learners with their approach to school and their commitment to our excellences. We asked Mr Turner, Assistant Standards and Achievement Leader for Year 7, for his view.

“The transition from primary school to high school can sometimes be a difficult one, but the new Year 7’s at Harrow High School have made a fantastic start to this academic year. Year 7 is about building foundations and if the first few weeks are anything to go by they will be building very strong ones. The Year 7’s have shown a real passion to learn and are an absolute pleasure to teach. Their attendance, punctuality and behaviour in and around school has been exemplary, which something they can be very proud of. Well Done.”

We would like to echo those sentiments and are looking forward to working with these outstanding learners for the next seven years.
