‘Wicked’ theatre trip for GCSE Drama class

Year 9 and 10 GCSE Drama learners visited the theatre to see Wicked as part of their GCSE course. The trip was a huge success and the learners were captivated for the entire 2 hours 45 minutes.

Ms McLaughlin commented “The lights, costume, acting and singing not only provided learners much to analyse for their course but also inspired them to succeed and develop their own performance skills.”

The themes addressed in Wicked also linked perfectly with anti-bullying week as this is a key theme within the play which the cast discussed at curtain call encouraging learners to think about how they treat each other.
