Niccolo Paganini (1782 – 1840) was an Italian violinist, violist, guitarist and composer. From a very young age he learnt how to play different instruments and his musical talents were quickly recognised by those around him. Earning several different scholarships for violin lessons, he was taught by many but due to his fast progress – his teachers were left troubled as to what more they could teach him.
His composition style was heavily influenced by a combination of many of his teachers however most of his songs are said to have been made from his imagination.
