Harrow High Careers Fair 2019

Friday saw the latest incarnation of our Annual Careers Fair at Harrow High. Learners from across the school were able to talk to a wide range of employers and universities about career pathways and their options in later life. This will enable them to make informed choices now and should improve their focus and motivation for excellent study. Universities who attended included; Oxford, QMUL, Brunel and City whilst employers included; BT Group, Metro Bank, Army In London, NatWest Commercial, RBS and the RAF and many more.

As usual, our learner excelled themselves demonstrating excellent aspirations and behaviour. The St Marys University ambassador commented “Your students are so well behaved and focused, I can’t believe a year 8 student asked me about the rating of our university” whilst the  City university ambassador said “your students (6th form prefects) are amazing! So professional, I had to ask if they staff or students”. The RAF simply commented; “I attend careers fairs all the time, and your students are some of the best behaved”

A big big thanks to all our guest and the amazing value they brought to the event and to all of our learners for their efforts on the day. Oh and a massive thumbs up to Ms Motiwala, Ms Bowen, Mr Patel and the Sixth Formers and all other who contributed from our end.
