Tate Modern Visit

As part of their exam preparatory studies, year 10 GCSE Art and Design learners visited the Tate Modern in London On Wednesday 22nd and Friday 24th January.   They were able to spend the day immersed in the wide variety of art experiences on offer and will use the evidence gathered as part of their exam development. The gallery is currently exhibiting the work of Nam June Paik, a Korean born artist who is considered the ‘father’ of video and installation art.  He coined the phrase ‘electronic superhighway’ to predict the future of communications in the internet age.
