• Basic Maths interventions and phonics programmes.
• Accelerated Reader Programme.
• We also offer a social skills programme and lunch time social clubs.
At KS4 we offer two ASDAN courses designed to support our SEN learners in preparing for college and employment.
ASDAN Certificate of Personal Effectiveness
CoPE is a qualification which recognises the acquisition of skills as a pathway to knowledge rather than the traditional academic
approach of exams. Learners can display their knowledge by evidencing a range of completed tasks.
Learners can receive points via 2 levels at Harrow High:
Level 1 – equivalent to GCSE – E/F = 25 points
Level 2 – equivalent to GCSE – B = 45 points
Learners can choose from a range of challenges from 12 modules to achieve 12 credits. This is then presented in a portfolio with
evidence. Tasks are practical and learners have a wide range of optional challenges enabling them to achieve success.

This course will be made up of three equal parts:
1. English Short Course (50 hours)
